Spode Blue Room Collection Mug

Spode’s Blue Room collection originates from the 18th century and features floral designs as well as famous places and scenery. The intricate borders are taken from engravings in the Spode archive. The blue and white designs which were made famous by the original Spode earthenware patterns are still produced today and used to be processed by blue under glaze printing on earthenware from hand engraved copper plates.
