In 1963 Staffordshire Tableware had completely moved their manufacture of earthenware to the old Meir Airport site, and a period of significant growth followed. From manufactures of utilitarian white cups to introducing the Kilncraft brand in 1971 and working with Marks and Spencer in the 1980s, Staffordshire had managed to conquer 30% of the UK dinnerware market by the 1990s.
