The shared history of Luneville and St-Clement is at the root of the richness and diversity of their respective collections. Unified, separated and now together again, the tableware of Luneville and St-Clement is unmistakable. Luneville Faience, or Luneville Earthenware is the classic French tableware.
Their excellent reputation has never diminished. Despite the setbacks, these earthenware factories were able to innovate and survive. This ability to adapt has allowed them to cross the centuries. Indeed, more than 300 years after Jacques Chambrette established his first earthenware factory in Lorraine, Luneville-St-Clement earthenware is still produced today.
