Chinasearch give a very personalised service and really do find items of china from discontinued collections. I have replaced lots of pieces in my portmeirion collection thanks to them. It does sometimes take a while but they do look in your behalf and then contact you personally to ask you what you need. The stuff then comes through the post very carefully wrapped. A brilliant service and much more efficient than scouring eBay!
