The Casserole dish was not perfect, but then it was not sold as perfect, it had 2 small faults, which I had to search to find. I bought this to replace one that I had had for over 40 years and then I chipped the lid making it unusable. I was quite upset to have lost an old friend and this makes an excellent replacement.
