I have used Chinasearch for years as it is situated in my home town. I rather regret not being able to walk between the racks as I used to be able to do but I understand it was a risky thing for the company to allow (not that I damaged anything. Gone are the days when I would spend up to £300 at one go on Spode Chelsea Wicker ware but the staff are very helpful and I cannot think of anyone else who does this service except perhaps Replacements Ltd in the USA. That is a huge concern with a vast stock but oh! the postage - and the online catalogue does not smile.

I bought these items to provide me with a cheap vegetable dish and server that would go with the Portmeirion Seasons Leaves design (my main purchase). They were both in very good condition and will serve as everyday ware.

I am building a six place setting of this design as I currently do not have tableware that will withstand the rigours of a dishwasher. I bought the cheaper plate because it was a little paler and would match those better than the more expensive one. As it is for everyday the condition between excellent and very good is not critical. However it would not disgrace a dinner party.
