I ordered a coffee pot lid only but was sent a coffee pot and a lid! I rang them expecting them to ask me to return the coffee pot and keep the lid PLUS giving me a discount for my troubles. However, they told me to keep the coffee pot and lid so now I have two coffee pots one with a lid and one without!!
We would like to apologise again for the initial mistake we made when picking and dispatching your order, as well as the inconvenience of you having to report the problem to us. We genuinely felt that the solution we offered - that you kept the coffee pot - would be the most convenient for you, and are sorry that you feel differently.

The wrong item was delivered but a telephone and personal visit enabled a replacement to be made fairly quickly - the initial part was good, the receipt poor and the correction excellent. Fortunately Kenilworth is not far from where I live.

In total I wanted three plates & found one for half the price of Chinasearch, so only orderedd two from CS . The post and packing was also half the price of CS. The other item arrived several days before CS item, which was not infact delivered to my address, I had to go and collect it from a post office and pay to park. I am becoming increasingly frustrated by this later practice as it is happening all the time with Royal mail being too timid or lightweight to carry anything larger or heavier than a matchbox
Sorry for the inconvenience of having to collect your order. Delivery took a little longer due to the Bank Holiday. Tracking shows delivery was attempted the day before. Glad you were happy with the quality of the plates we sent you.

Having charged me £9.94 each for five egg cups, I was very surpised to see that postage,packing and insurance of £8.95 - that is £1.80 EACH eggcup - was added to the bill. By an email direct to the company, I have pointed out that goods despatched on 21st March have yet to arrive on 9th April.
NOT GOOD.
I am sorry for the delay of your order which I can see has now been delivered and hope you are happy with the egg cups we have sent you.

I cannot fault the speed with which the item was dispatched, however, I do object to the sheer size of the box used for the transportation of a tea towel. Where a small envelope could have been used and the postage halved a ridiculously large box was used instead. Might I recommend reviewing your postage policy
This is the normal packaging for small items however we are always looking to make improvements so thank you for your feedback. We always try and display pictures but with 300,000 items in stock this can be a challenge! In the future if you have a question about an item do not hesitate in getting in touch with us.

CONCERNING MY RECENT ORDER I FOUND CERTAIN LADIES VERY DIFFICULT, ALMOST SNOOTY & NOT THE WAY A SALES PERSON SHOULD BE WITH A LONG STANDING CUSTOMER LIKE MYSELF. I ORDERED 3 SAUCERS 1 OF WHICH WAS DISTINCTLY FAULTY. WHEN I TELEPHONED & TOLD THE SAID LADY SHE INSISTED I PACKED IT UP & RETURNED IT THEN SHE WOULD SEE IF IT NEEDED REPLACING. I SUGGESTED SENDING ME A REPLACEMENT STRAIGHTAWAY SO THEY WOULD CROSS IN POST BUT SHE NOT OBLIGE. I LATER RECEIVED A BETTER 1 BUT NOT PERFECT. I HAVE A LOT OF BEAUTIFUL CHINA INCLUDING THE WHOLE DINNER SERVICE, TEA SERVICE, COFFEE SERVICE, VEGETABLE TUREEN, GRAVY BOAT OF ULANDER POWDER RUBY FOR 6 PEOPLE. We understand why you may feel that it is reasonable to ask for a replacement to be sent prior to receiving your item back for inspection, but this is the policy we apply to product quality queries we receive. I did not like the fact that they shipped my order without a tracking number, like all other companies I buy from, so that I could follow the shipment until delivery. I felt like the person who corresponded with me was not so professional , and felt she was somehow on the rude side.
The Company should look the way their competitors work so that they can improve their customer service.
Small orders are sent via the normal postal service. Larger orders are sent via a courier where we would be able to supply a tracking number.

Rather more expensive than the plates were when I first bought them! Which is a shame - they are after all second hand! I appreciate everything involved which causes this price rise. So, while delighted to have those 6 plates, I would be reluctant to buy through you again.
Sorry you are reluctant to buy from us again. There are significant costs in providing a china matching service and our prices reflect this. We are delighted you were able to find the plates you required.

I ordered the Villeroy & Boch mug just before Christmas. It arrived within a few days but was the incorrect mug. Unfortunately, the company had closed its warehouse when I tried to ring them. I contacted Chinasearch in the New Year and explained that I would need to return the mug. This I did and was promised that the correct mug would be sent as well as postage stamps to re-imburse me. The correct mug arrived within a few days but not the re-imbursement for the postage.
Sorry that we sent you the wrong mug and that were were unable to replace it sooner due to the Christmas holiday. We have refunded the return postage back onto your card so you should see this on your next statement.

By clicking PayPal at the end of our checkout process the transaction from this point is handled by the PayPal system so you will need to change the delivery adress through PayPal.
