Denby Chilli Breakfast/lunch plates
I received a very pleasant phone call from Chinasearch about some more Denby plates I wished to purchase and was able to order them over the phone. They came within a few days.

Very disappointed with the quality.
Delivery was fine but I was very disappointed with the plates. I wasn't expecting the quality to be anything more than 'fair' as advertised, but the plates I received appear to be rejects. The colours are pale, the glaze appears not fully applied and the weight and finish of the plates is very inferior to my originals (now almost 50 years old but still beautiful).

You sent a coffee cup not a tea cup..it was advertised as a tea cup and I wanted it to match the other five teacups that I have..it is much smaller but too much faff to send back

Terrible service and no communication
Terrible service from Chinasearch - very rude lady on the phone when I chased my order after 4 weeks. At no point did anyone at Chinasearch tell me they had to order from Denny (it was showing on the site as available) which is the reason I was given for it taking so long. I could have ordered it direct and received it within a week, but Chinasearch took 16 weeks to fulfill! Anbsolutwly dreadful service and won’t be using again.

Did not give a correct information so we bought china which not what we thought we are buying and due to personal circumstances I can not return as I can not go to the post office. Very poor sale on line

Disappointed & fooled by misleading website photo
It turned out not to be the item I wanted, which was the 8" serving bowl without a rim. The itemI was sent is just a sort of old fashioned soup plate. Unfortunately the photosthe item on the website was so poor I could not see the rim (I have good vision) and was fooled into thinking it was the serving bowl of similar size which I needed. Now I just need to find out how to return it, otherwise it will go to charity as it is of no use to me.

Having logged in with Chinasearch some time ago (possibly six months?) we were delighted when their system contacted us to advise us that our specific requirements had been offered to them. Sorry you are unhappy with your order, if you wish to return your order please give us a call. Your feedback is really helpful, we do not intentionally sell copies. Susie Cooper collections were made over 4 decades and with her joining Wedgwood in the 1960s many collections were produced with different marks. In this collection there were at least 3 marks used, the earlier Susie Cooper Signature, the Member of the Wedgwood Group and the later Black Urn. We will look to improve these descriptions to make our website clearer. Thank you again, and hope to speak soon.

Disappointed as always been pleased in past.
Paid top price for very good condition for two dinner plates. Black marks on the plain mustard yellow band, covered by green stickers. Plates had obviously been purchased as seconds when new. I’d have returned them had I not needed for a dinner party that week. Disappointed, as other china purchased previously has been excellent.
