Disappointing experience
Out of 8 bowls only two were old and matched the china I already had. The remainder were “dishwasher proof” and the colours were more garish.
Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you were disappointed with the bowls we sent you. We do note on the website that the shades of colour can vary in this pattern. This can be due to changing production techniques especially when a pattern is produced over a long period of time. Please let me know if you are not happy to keep these bowls.

I was very pleased to receive the new Denby mugs, but they took a long time to come without any explanation .
Thank you for your feedback. If new items are not in stock and have to be ordered in from the Manufacturer we try to expain this through the ordering process and on the conformation email. We estimate 21 days for us to get stock in from the Manufacturer. Once here we try and dispatch the order next working day.

Quality may be overstated?
The service was great but I wasn't super pleased with the quality of the plate. There were several deep scratches in the glaze that, in my mind, would disqualify it from the very good rating it was given. I'm afraid that they will shorten the plate's lifespan especially when washed in the dishwasher.

Good service, cannot tell if some plates are "seconds". The website only indicate good vs very good quality. Packing not adequate as plated wrapped in newspaper w/ thin pieces styrofoam sheeting between the plates. One of the bowls was broken in half and not salvageable, the box arrived torn and slightly open at the corner w/o adequate Fragile handle w/ care markings.
Thank you for your feedback. The items you bought were all in very good condition. Factory marked seconds are automatically graded as good even if we cannot see why they were originally graded this way. I am sorry to hear that the box arrived damaged and one of the bowls was broken. We do not have another one in stock at the moment so we will refund you for this item. This pattern was produced over a long period of time so there may be slight differences in sizes due to different production methods.

initially delivered the wrong china, but after contact they immediately sent out another of my order and arranged to have the incorrect order recovered.
Delivery people were not that good.
However I have been ordering china from Chinasearch for more than 6 years.

Thank you for your feedback. We are still searching for the 7" plates for you. This is a fairly old pattern that goes back to the 1950's so not always easy to find and to find in good conditon. We will let you know when we get stock in.

I thought that the service was generally good however the lid does not fit on the top of the teapot very well. When pouring from the pot you have to hold on to the top as it is very loose and will easily fall out. The lid outer diameter is 55mm and the pots inner diameter is 65mm on my old teapot it is 60mm and 65mm.

It was not clear that the items were not first quality - there were obvious imperfections that should have been shown before purchase.

On the item page there is also more information on what to expect in each grade. If you are unsure about the condition of any items you can always contact us before ordering.

Cups were perfect, delivery doesn’t work for me
The two cups I bought were perfect. But the method used to deliver them (Parcelforce) doesn’t work for me. I live in Stratford-upon-Avon, but Parcelforce’s depot is in Bedworth. It was unusual and therefore lucky that I was working from home the day of the delivery.
When ordering p&p, there was no way of saying “do not send by parcel force, pls use Royal Mail.
I suggest that you consider using Royal Mail in future, maybe as a chooseable option; the post office is just two miles away from my home, not 22 miles.
I won’t buy again unless I can make time to visit the Kenilworth showroom. Because I don’t have time to drive to Bedworth generally. Which is a shame as the cups were perfect.
