Great service but disappointed with quality of product
I was rather disappointed with the quality of the item. The description said that it was ‘good’ yet it has a slight chip which I was not expecting. The colours are faded and don’t match my existing set well.

Good service at the time I ordered and items delivered well packaged. I was disappointed that the items couldn't be reserved for me whilst the search was made for many other items - Delivery to Switzerland is expensive when you also have to add on import tax. One package even if I'd had to wait a while, would have been much better. I would have been happy to pay to have the items 'held' for me.
The Wedgwood Candlelight plates are perfect - Very good condition, as promised.
The Spode tea-cup was a big disappointment. It was said to be very good condition, but is actually a very good condition second.. The transfer is partially on the handle and there are blue spots on the white inside the cup. You surely need to inform when the item is an obvious second..?? The reason I don't buy new Spode is because production has moved and quality has dropped. I'm not wanting to collect seconds!! You charged me nearly 20GBP for this item.. I actually would have asked to return it but costs to do so run too high for it to be worthwhile. A pity this happened.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that your first order too so long to arrive. We are experiencing much longer delivery times on orders sent to the EU due to the change in customs. Your 2nd order has now cleared through customs and will now on the way to the delivery depot.

Bowls didn’t match
Bought 3 bowls but when I received them was disappointed to find they were much heavier than the ones I already have didn’t feel like bone China so returned them returned process was straightforward staff v helpful

Thank you for your feedback. I can see from the tracking that yesterday it was received in the destination country. We are finding that deliveries are taking longer at the moment due to the changes in customs due to Brexit. We will keep an eye on the tracking for you.

There should have been a photograph of the front and back of the saucers on the website. as is customary in this line of business. It turned out that one of the saucers I bought was of the old sort, with signature on the back, one of the newer sort. If I had known this I would only have bought the old one. but did not want the bother of sending one back.

Inadequate packaging
Items were inadequately packed and broken, leaving sharp bits of China on my floor. Customer service were very good, but I’m still waiting for the replacements.

Missing plate.
Ordered four plates. However only three arrived. I contacted customer service and explained my query. Fortunately they had one plate remaining which they posted off to me. Additional plate arrived safe and sound a few days later.

Disappointedwith care taken with deliverb
I was disappointed with the delivery service.My only reason for 3 * is the state of the package when it arrived.There was a large hole in the box.The contents were safe due te the packaging used inside. Normally I feel too much bubble wrap and paper is used,not this time!

I would have liked to know how new the plates were. You used to grade them.
Thank you for your feedback. We still use the same grading system for the previously owned discontinued china we sell. The green sticker denotes very good condition and the yellow sticker good condition. The grade is also shown on the invoice.

Size needed to be clearer
The cup size was wrong. Although you gave the measurements it did not say it this included the handle or not.

Not matching
The plates sent do not match those I have already - they are more curved.

Thank you for your feedback. This pattern was produced over a long period of time so shapes and sizes vary slightly. I can see you ordered raised rim dinner plates it may be yours have the flatter rim. You are always welcome to return items you are not happy to keep. We are still searching for the bowls and will let you know when we find them.
How can I return the dishes shapely differently - the packaging has been destroyed?
Thank you for your reply. You would need to find a box and some packing material plenty of scrunched up newspaper works best. Pack them up in a similar way to how they were sent to you making sure the packing is good and tight in the box to the plates can't move. The return cost would be at your expense you can either take it to a post office or we can have it collected for £8.95.

Poor Service
I would have given a higher rating had I been kept up to date with my order.I had to e mail they said that Poole Pottery’s had stopped production. I then rang Poole Pottery and they told me they had 36 in stock.I then e mailed you back and within 2 weeks I got my vase.Shame
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your order took longer to come in from the supplier than first anticipated. The vases had just been released into stock the morning you called them. One of these had been allocated to our outstanding order and was in dispatch. It arrived here 2 days later and was dispatched to you straight away.

Somewhat disappointed.... our new tea cup turned out to be a small coffee cup.
Too much effort to return..... so we have ONE coffee cup !

wonderful knowing that i was able to buy a vegetable tureen and lid at a reasonable price in a sale - normally very expensive. Also arrived very well packaged as from another Company did receive broken plates, but they were replaced free of charge. Collected Poole pottery 48 years ago as part of my bottom drawer before marriage.
