Nothing to get excited about. The item was in stock, I paid for it and for it to be delivered, and the single item arrived pretty promptly. I also asked for the company to try and find more items in this range for me and have heard absolutely nothing from then since that time

Thank you Jane for the update. My problem with the process was that once I had made the request online I had no communication to confirm that the search was in fact taking place. I have changed my review headline to a more positive statement in the hope of a good outcome.

I was happy with the delivery but the platinum band was very worn on the plates.
Obviously had been well used.
Thank you for your feedback. I can see the plates you bought were in 'good' condition. We would allow for a little more usage wear in this grade but they should not be heavily worn. Please call me on the number below so we can sort this out for you.

Your service was good, but unfortunately the couriers you use were not so good. The plates arrived a day after you said they would which was too late for the dinner party!! When I questioned the courier on the day the plates were delivered, he said they couldn’t find the house yesterday??? Obviously this was quite disappointing.
I am sorry to hear that your order did not arrive on the expected day. I am glad I have been able to sort this out for you.

V polite service but long wait ( understandably in most cases) n not cheap
Takes a long time to deliver but very polite staff. Wonder why they do not scour eBay for customers, buy the items and then sell to customers. Prices can be very high for items Chinasearch source themselves and wonder how they fix those prices as there is no market they can dip into ( unless they look at eBay!)
Thank you for your feedback. The buying team search across the UK to find items for customers. We may well have items in stock, if not we can do a search. This sometimes can take a while depending on the item we are looking for. There is no charge for this service.

Good service, poor packaging
Customer service was wonderful--very attentive. But, packaging was poor. Only four out of 12 plates survived the trip.
This is really disappointing. It is extremely rare that items arrive broken. We are doing our best to find more plates for you and will alert you as soon as we get stock in.

The internet site is easy to use. The item was as described and expected and was well packaged. It took two weeks to arrive.
Thank you for your feedback. I can see that we dispatched this order the day after it was placed so it shouldn't have taken this long to arrive. Generally orders sent via Royal Mail take 2-3 working days.

Delivery and packaging excellent disappointed in the quality of the mug design and Finnish very good but mug is a lot thicker than the ones we already have.
I am glad I have been able to speak to you today. Although this pattern was made by Royal Doulton it was also sold under the brand name St Andrews. We try to separate these 2 versions on the stocklist. It may be you have a different version to the one we sent you and this is why is it is slightly thicker. Once we establish which version you have we will let you know when we get stock in.

Well wrapped!
Buying direct was easy enough. Items arrived very well wrapped. My only gripe was the search and find facility with no feedback or follow up regarding items wanted.

If this is the best match i can get its not worth the cost of item or post
took to long on delivery.vase bought was to match one we allready had of the same make/manufacture.When placed alongside the original the new one is not white porcelane but cream and the moulding on the vase looks inferior to the original one.

Fast delivery and efficient packaging but lack of communication
My parcel of china arrived within days and was very well packaged. I was very pleased with it, it was immaculate. What let them down was communication. I had no confirmation of my order or payment via email. I was about to go online the day the parcel arrived to check that my order had been received. I was not advised when my parcel would be sent or that it was on its way. Especially as it was china I wanted to make sure I was in to receive it. Very luckily my neighbour took it in and treated it well. So lack of communication let them down for me.

We have looked into this and can see from the Mail system logs that we sent an order conformation email at 12:17 on the 21st then a dispatch email at 6pm on the 24th. Both emails were accepted by BT’s email servers. I suggest you check your spam / junk folders.
Thank you for your response. I have gone back and checked all of my folders including spam/junk and I can categorically assure you that I have never received an email of any kind from you. I would very much like to apologise and say in this instance it's my fault but unfortunately am unable to do so.

Disappointment.
I get excited at the prospect of adding pieces to my dwindling set, but there has never been what I am looking for. This isn't the fault of China Search, but I do wish theywouldn't notify me unless the items I've said I'm waiting for actually turn up.

Duty fees are unfortunate
The products arrived in great condition but I had high duty fees shipping it to Canada.
Email questions were handled quickly.
Unfortunately we have no control over this. When ordering goods for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches the specified destination.

Good product ... appalling delivery service
The china is fine and was dispatched promptly but the delivery leaves a lot to be desired. We were out when the item arrived and it was thrown over a six foot gate onto a tarmac drive despite being clearly marked 'fragile'. Fortunately it survived intact but had we returned in the dark we would certainly have run over it!!!

Delivery problem
The only problem was the delivery, the courrier service just hurled the package over the fence, even though marked fragile, instead of waiting for me to get to the front door to open. When I complained about his behaviour, he simply told me I took too long to get to the door!!!
This sounds awful, thank you for letting us know. We will pass this onto our courier.

While the eggcup was of good condition,it came in a box approx 1foot by 10inches by 6inches and it was by luck it wasn't damaged as was free from it's moorings and rattling free in the box!!!!
We try and use the most suitable size box. If this is not available we would use the smallest box available at the time rather than delay the order. The plastic insert should have held the item securely and not become detached I am glad the egg cup arrived intact.
