  • About Venetia

Susie Cooper Venetia (pattern C2039) was introduced in the mid-1960s and produced in fine bone china. The design reflects Cooper’s later work with printed lithographic decoration, featuring classical foliate “S” scroll motifs framed by contrasting coloured bands. The smooth white body and balanced decoration give Venetia an elegant, timeless character that marks Cooper’s transition from earlier earthenware to modern bone china production.

The pattern is found under three backstamps: the Signed Susie Cooper mark (c. 1965), the Member of Wedgwood Group mark (c. 1967), and the Black Urn mark used after 1969.
