Susie Cooper's Keystone collection is truly fascinating. Released around 1969, it reimagines the classical Greek Key motif into a modern, stylised design. The pattern found its perfect home on Susie’s ‘can’ forms, a shape she innovated in 1958 and later brought to Wedgwood during her tenure from 1966 to 1980.Keystone's enduring popularity led to several colour variations, starting with the striking black design, and here in the Old Gold with the Black Urn backstamp.
