- About Matrix
Vista Alegre are known for their collaborations with both well established and up and coming designers. Matrix was designed by Bartek Mejor who graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 2011, specializing in ceramic design he focuses on the application of 3D technology to the creation process.
Mejor combines the techniques of traditional manufacture with modern methods and technologies, using innovative techniques for cutting and overlapping layers he explores the transition from the digital to the physical object. Matrix was designed to be both functional and modern. Based on a crystalline structure Matrix is created from several irregular faces offering a unique and original set that is available in tableware and decorative pieces all signed by the designer.
