• About Amapola

  Villeroy & Boch Amapola was produced from circa 1978 to 2001. The cream porcelain dinnerware is decorated with large blue and orange poppies and green foliage, arranged in a bold, free-flowing style across the surface.

  Named after the Spanish word for “poppy,” Amapola reflects a more expressive floral approach, with the vibrant motif set against a light ground.

  Dec 6th 2012My teacup appeared to be brand-new. Great! But I did ask for you to look out for a teapot lid, and I heard no more. Maybe there just aren't any out there.
