  Apr 23rdWhen we bought Thomas Medaillon dinner service over 50 years ago, we chose the fine gold band variant - it never entered our heads, all those years ago, to consider compatability with a dishwasher (or microwave). Consequently, it's only been used for special occasions when I don't mind occasionally handwashing. Looking to replace our 'everyday' dinner plates, I was delighted to find the Thomas Medaillon dinner service in plain white. We can now enjoy the dinner plates every day (they stack beautifully in the dishwasher as they are so fine) and supplement them occasionally with gold band items which can be handwashed. Luxury every day!
