Cath Ball is the creative talent behind Stitched Ceramics. From a young age, she thrived in arts, crafts, and making, gaining immense pride and confidence from her creations.

After graduating in 2004 with a BA in Contemporary Applied Arts in Cumbria, where she specialised in ceramics and embroidery, Cath honed her skills at Wetheriggs Country Pottery before establishing her own studio in Thursby, near Carlisle. She exclusively works with porcelain, employing techniques like slip casting, throwing, and hand-building to create her unique pieces.
