Produced from 1983 to 1988, Royal Doulton Somerset is part of the Lambethware range, which was introduced in 1974 as a casual tableware collection inspired by the historic Lambeth pottery tradition, dating back to the 19th century. Crafted from fine stoneware, Lambethware was designed for everyday use while maintaining a touch of vintage refinement. Somerset captures the essence of an English country garden, with soft yellow floral motifs blooming across the surface, framed by an intricate chintz border. It was also produced as part of the Majestic Collection under the pattern code TC1139.
