Royal Doulton Morning Star (T.C.1026) was produced from 1966 to 1988 as part of the company’s Translucent China series. The pattern features a warm cream body with a tan geometric border and a stylised starburst motif at the centre of many pieces, reflecting the clean, modern decorative trends of the late 1960s. Its restrained palette in shades of tan and brown gives the design a subtle, contemporary character while maintaining Royal Doulton’s fine tableware quality. The range was made in a full selection of dinner, tea, and coffee shapes and remains recognisable for its distinctive geometric edging and central medallion.
