Sentimental value

Efficient and reliable, thank you. Everything was so well wrapped and packed. (Even the Fed Ex fellow who handed me the box, here in Birr, was courteous and nicely smily!) My income is small, so it seemed rather extravagant spending over €200 to purchase these items, but a couple of saucers and cups had been broken over the past 29 years. The originals had been my mother’s and I use them quite a lot. Very sadly she had died too young, and so these were of sentimental value. It was a joyful moment to unwrap and set them out upon the kitchen dresser.
