63 yrs ago when I was sweet 16 I won first prize in a raffle, which was a Royal Albert Sweet Romance tea set. This was to be the only thing I ever won! As I was young, my elder sister kept it in her attic for me. She moves about 3 times, taking my tea set with her. Years later she returned it to me but there were pieces broken. I was heartbroken but didn’t want to part with it so it stayed in a display cupboard and was never actually used. Then by accident I found Chinasearch and sent for some of the broken pieces (cups and a sugar bowl.) These arrived very securely packed and looked like new. I was thrilled with them. The only thing was I made a mistake with how many cups had been broken and now I need two more cups to complete the set ( I must have had a ‘senior moment’) so I now have to find the coppers to order them! I will use Chinasearch as I was so pleased with them.
