The customer service was exemplary. I ordered some white plates in the morning, then remembered I had been looking for Midwinter - Brown Print - Salad / Dessert Plate for several years. They had some, so I made a second order and left a message about the possibility of combining the orders. The woman who rang back had to do a few complicated transactions but she managed it!
These square plates aren't quite the same as our existing plates - they are better! The "base" (the part of the plate in contact with the table) is square which enables one to apply pressure to cut food out to the edge of the plate - our existing ones have a circular base, so guests occasionally tipped the plate when cutting outside the circle - hope that makes sense!
I had been looking for these for years and had registered with other discontinued china search suppliers. They are in excellent condition - I am really pleased with them.
