My items arrived to Japan with a customs surcharge; I had to pay about 1400 yen (10GBP) upon receipt. Customer service was polite, but with a 'nothing we can do.'
I am glad you were pleased with the bowls we sent you. When ordering goods from overseas you may be subject to import duties unfortunately this is beyond our control.
