  • About Spanish Garden

Midwinter Spanish Garden is a delightful and widely recognised discontinued pattern from the Midwinter pottery. Introduced in 1966, Spanish Garden remained in production for an impressive 16 years.

The pattern was designed by Jessie Tait, one of Midwinter’s most consistent and celebrated designers. Its swirling leaves, almost psychedelic in appearance, drew inspiration from textiles and marked the pottery’s flirtation with flower power during the '60s. Spanish Garden features vibrant and lively colours, in shades of turquoise, aquamarine, and green, capturing the essence of the era.
