Before Richard and Antony Joseph started working in the family glass chopping board business, kitchens were a little dull. Together they developed Joseph Joseph into an iconic English kitchenware brand best known for its colourful design-led products.
What started out as designing and building products at home from a young age continued through their university years and early careers as product designers. It wasn’t until 2003 that they decided to join forces.
Their first piece for the brand Joseph Joseph was a simple glass chopping board, but the functional, hygienic nature of this shifted the brothers focus onto designing everyday products with a core problem-solving approach to cooking and baking tasks.
