Gladstone China

Gladstone China (Longton) was produced at the Gladstone China Works, housed in the buildings that are now part of the Gladstone Pottery Museum. Much of the china found today dates from around 1950, when the company dropped “(Longton) Ltd” and became known simply as Gladstone China. The factory was well regarded for its good-quality bone china tableware.

The Gladstone China Works remained in operation until 1970, when the factory finally closed.
