The Gainsborough "Maple Leaf" pattern is a vintage bone china design produced in mid-20th century England by the Gainsborough pottery firm, a smaller manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent that was later absorbed into Ridgway Potteries. Known for its elegant autumnal motif featuring maple leaves and berries, the pattern was typically used for tea sets and dinnerware and is often marked with a “Gainsborough Bone China – Made in England” backstamp.
