- About Countryware
Coalport Countryware remains hugely popular many years since it was first produced. In 1967 Coalport was acquired by the Wedgwood Group, and the Coalport brand was slowly phased out. The production of Coalport Countryware continued, though, by the early 1970s, Countryware was being manufactured under the Wedgwood mark. The pattern is featured on white embossed fine china, with a beautiful appearance and luxury feel.
This beautiful floral textured white china adds understated class to any tableware set, becoming a gripping conversation piece without drawing the eye allowing the meal to be the real centrepiece of the table, as the intricate details guide diners to feast their eyes on contrasting, colourful food.
