- About RegentRegent pattern #2883 or HX 2883 was introduced c. 1938 by Adams & Sons, when Wedgwood purchased them on January 1st 1966 they continued to produce popular patterns such as Regent under Adams under Wedgwood. The Calyx Ware range features a centre purple floral with six smaller flower designs across the rim, an inner well border with flower and cross line design finished with a scalloped pattern on the trim. Adding an opulent touch to proceedings the service was finished in burnished gold and was current as of 1974 ceasing to be produced when Britain’s cleaner air requirement came into effect.
