Giallo in Italian means "yellow", the pattern is a modern interpretation of Spode's 200-year old Blue Italian pattern. Each piece is adorned with a yellow cross-hatch pattern border with blue edges and features a distinctive Blue Italian country scene. Coordinating white dinner plates feature only the blue and yellow border.
