The Aztec empire fell around 1500, but lives on through its people's tradition of colourful geometric patterns, inspired by the plumes of the region's tropical birds, whose feathers often topped their headdresses.   Nov 20th 2013Wonderful to be able to replenish my Wedgwood-Aztec China when there are accidents. It still looks lovely on the table, sets off any type of meal which is placed on it. It always looks stylish, clean and modern. Pattern is just not dating at all.
