The actual order was quickly and easily organised. The service by Chinasearch has always been efficient. However, this time there was a major hold up by FedEx. I have a Post Box delivery address and FedEx do not deliver to a Post Office.After several weeks of delays I managed to have the goods delivered to my residential address. Please do not use FedEx for Post Office addresses

Unfortunately I needed a cereal bowl. The bowl was s soup/cereal bowl thus it was bigger than my bowls and the pattern was on the outside not the inside. I have kept the bowl but would still like a cereal bowl.

prompt but pricey

Prompt delivery but expensive and one item I later discovered, had a chip. I only needed three out of the four glasses luckily but their quality control needs improving.

Not as described

Description stated coffee cups which implied a larger cup. What was received were espresso cups. while lovely, they were not needed and it was too expensive to ship back to England

There was no problem with the quality of the product they sent or the delivery time, unfortunately it was just that they sent the wrong product. I contacted them immediately and they provided a great returns service.

One saucer was larger than normal. Tea cup handle was tiny. All somewhat disappointing... Old Chelsea.

Thank you for your feedback. We are still searching for the Denby Midnight plates and will let you know when we find them. The Denby Imperial Blue was the nearest match at the time and as it is still a current pattern, we were able to order the plates in from Denby.

Very prompt and efficient service for things already in stock, but unable to find the other items we were looking for.

Some Disappointment

I bought two mugs; both were "new". One was in perfect condition. The other's handle is cracked at the top and bottom where it should join the body of the mug. It could have happened in transit since there is no glaze over the top crack, but it would have been better to see the glaze error or cracking in the description or photos. Every other part of the buying experience was perfect.

Having received 1 broken bowl, although I was refunded, I was told that when they get another bowl in stock after a search, I would have to pay postage to get it delivered! Not impressed.

Fed Ex demanded much more money from me. I will never buy anything from your country delivered by Fed Ex.

Wrong size plates sent far larger than expected.. but we kept them. But with postage, duties and exchange rates wexwont be buying much from UK any more.

I ordered 3 best quality plates but 1 of them was second quality. I, therefore, had to email them about it with a photograph of the plate. Although I was compensated for this I did feel it spoilt what should have been an easy purchase.

Frustration and wasted time.

Delays in delivery. Was given 4 different dates. They cancelled first three on same day, as was expecting delivery. Seemed to get stuck in St Jean de Vedas for 5days. Too much packing! Took me a while day to unravel it, so I could recycle it.

It took 6 months to fulfill my order, so that was 6 months you had my money! And communication was poor. The odd email occasionally would have been helpful.

Sorry that the Gio Side plates took much longer than anticipated. Both ourselves and Wedgwood were out of stock of the side plates at time of ordering, and although supply from Wedgwood is slowly improving after the last two years there are still occasional delays. We should have kept you better informed on the status of the outstanding items from your order, we apologise and hope you are now able to finally enjoy your Wedgwood set.

I have had a 'wanted' list on Chinasearch for years, but I don't think they've ever come up with anything on it.They sometimes email with 'offers', only to find that they just have one item that's not competitively priced.

Reasonable service

The goods and delivery were very good, my only issue was with the six weeks wait for delivery from the factory

Main reason for rating is because of the length of time it took to locate and get my item. Plus, when I did finally receive it the quality was not on a par with my existing plates. Although it says it was V &B it was not bone china and the plate is thicker. Actually really disappointed after taking so very long to get it.

Good service when you find something you want.

I recently bought a lid for a vegetable dish. It was luck that I saw it on your website. I had asked you to find one for me and you never notified me that you had one.
