Great items!
My items arrived to Japan with a customs surcharge; I had to pay about 1400 yen (10GBP) upon receipt. Customer service was polite, but with a 'nothing we can do.'

Disappointed
Regrettably the two bowls did not exactly match the picture of the bowl in the advert. Although the pattern on the outside of the bowls was correct the design on the inside was quite different from the picture against which I ordered the bowls. I have, however, accepted the bowls without complaint although I was disappointed.

The items arrived within the expected international shipping time but were NOT, as far as I can tell, as represented. And I have no way to prove it. They were well packaged. I would not recommend this company nor would I buy from them again. See remarks below.

Beryl was produced over a long period of time, the 1940's to the early 2000's. The process of notifying clients that their search items have arrived does not work. "My" items were sold before I had an oppotunity to purchase them. This is simply not good enough. Why not have a window of say 7-10 days before the items go on open sale?

I've had the lid of this item on "Search" for maybe 3 years. But no response until they advertised many items, and I took a chance on ordering a complete dish and lid which proved to be the correct one.

You failed to notify me, so I would have missed it had I not happened to search anyway. Compared to most on-line companies today it seems to take Chinasearch far too long for goods to be packed and despatched. To use Royal Mail also adds considerably to the time for goods to arrive. The day I ordered from Chinasearch I also ordered several other items on-line and these all arrived from next morning to two days later (with no postage to pay) yet Chinasearch delivery was 3 further days later and there had been postage to pay.

I was very disappointed that I had taken hours to fill in all the china I wanted to sell and yet had a reply back within it seemed like minutes after you opened, that NONE was wanted. This is not the first time I have tried to sell and buy. The buying was easy, but the selling non-existent. How do you get your stock, if not from buying from us?

Ringing to point out the error below the response was not as helpful as I would expect. Focussed on telling me I was wrong when I suggested they had shown 2 jugs at some point and said 'impossible' but didn't actually apologise for their error even though I said we would keep it rather than send it back at their expense. Good Customer Relations would be to say send £5 as a token gesture as either if they had priced it as a bigger jug it had been overpriced and/or if we had said 'not what we ordered so you can pay for us to send it back and refund us' that would also have cost them.
