Slow service
The china was well packed and arrived safely in excellent condition. However, I ordered it in February and received it in August. I recognise you have supply chain issues, but that was too long.

I wouldn't use Chinasearch again
I tried the Denby website for the replacement bowl I needed, which said it was out of stock and I could register to be emailed when it was available. I did this, as it involved no prior payment and no commitment to purchase if I found one somewhere else in the meantime. I then tried Chinasearch, and the site said the bowl was available, which I took to mean they had some in stock. Despite taking my payment immediately, in fact they couldn't supply it but added me to the Denby waiting list (which I was already on). About a month later, on the same day I received an email from Denby saying the bowl was now available, and one from Chinasearch saying it was being despatched (by Denby). I find this very misleading, and sharp practice to take my money without being able to supply the item.

Thank you for your feedback. We do allow customers to order items from complete ranges and when items need to be ordered from the manufacturer we try and make it clear through the checkout process. When we receive the stock we check it and dispatch from our warehouse in Kenilworth. Sorry that this has not worked out for you on this occasion. In this COVID era, it was dreadful to open my purchase in a box stuffed with newspaper. I will never purchase from you again.

We are sorry that you have not enjoyed receiving your parcel from us. We do use newspaper, both printed and white offcuts, as well other paper and card packaging products. We have found newspaper it to be the ultimate packing material for sending ceramic tableware around the world. We very rarely get breakages and hope that it is easy to dispose of the packaging we use in a way that’s kind to the environment, regardless of where the final delivery is.We do also try and reduce our waste by recycling and reusing packaging. Many imperfections
I had already paid for shipping and taxes When the delivery was made to my house I had to pay another $25.05 to get my China Was not happy

The service for the mint dish was efficient and exactly what I ordered. I am still awaiting a cake knife I also ordered I have not heard a word about this . No communication as to if one is found or when likely to come.

Good communication but poor standards
Although the communication was good, it took half a year for the item to arrive. Initially, I was told there’d be a 2 week delay. When the time arrived, the gilded parts were of very poor quality. Holes, scratches, blemishes. Chinasearch sent replacement parts, and didn’t bother to check them beforehand. The replacement parts were of the same poor quality when they arrived.

Expect delays and unanswered emails
5 months to complete my order for Wedgewood Gio plates, me constantly chasing, many emails not responded too. Very simply before you take a customers funds, check the item is available then take funds, rather than take funds and have a client chasing for 5mths

One item arrived broken and I was asked what I wanted to do and then I have heard nothing. A pity I have used you a lot and normally have good service and communication.

Not good and I was very disappointed
Unfortunately this time the phone call was’t that good. There was tension between myself and the woman who I spoke to. I felt her tone was rude with a note of sourcasium. It was about the measurements of a teacup which I think I got wrong. I had to ask if I could speak to someone else. I had to hang up and phone back. When i spoke to the same woman again her tone was a bit more pleasing to my ear.

Item advertised as found, but not delivered
Hello, I have been informed that plates have been found. I paid immediately.No tracking number. After 3 weeks of waiting, the delivery has not arrived. I was disappointed. I contacted customer service who refunded my order.

Please use much less packing. I was very surprised at the size of my delivery and the huge amount of packing that was used for two very small items; again in which I was disappointed especially in view of the actual cost of same. In these times of trying to cut down on waste your packaging was definitely OTT. Please think!!!!

The tea pot is fine but your system copied a nonsense address on to the delivery form, which did not include the house name. The driver would not have been able to deliver on the information he had. Fortunately I noticed the error and contacted the delivery company to give them my address.

The plates were exactly what I wanted, were really well wrapped and were in really good condition. I was delighted. However, because of some glitch in your computer (concerning postal codes), the parcel was address and sent to a completely incorrect address (which shared the first three digits of my postal code. When I rang to investigate, I was met with a defensive, customer-blaming attitude.

We do have a postcode checker system on our website however we don’t support Eircode so the address would not be changed by the postcode matcher after the order has been confirmed. On reaching the Delivery Details page the billing address is visible. There is also an option to specify a different delivery address if this is not selected the billing address will be used. We are sorry that this was dealt no dealt with in a better way over the phone. We should have called you back when we had been able to look into it for you. We have now updated the payment page to show the delivery address as an additional check before payment and we will look into supporting Eircode lookups in the future.

Quite good, but not outstanding.
Delivery fair. I measured up my own bowls carefully, but the ones sent back were too small. Still useful, but not great.
