Introducing Kit Kemp x Spode
Chinasearch are delighted to introduce you to some exciting patterns from Spode as part of its new design collaboration with British hotelier designer Kit Kemp. Across these collections, it’s clear to see Kit’s appreciation of craft intertwined with her unique eye for detail.
We have stock available now of three very different Kit Kemp and Spode ranges, two of which complement each other beautifully when mixed and matched.
We’ll begin with Tall Trees – a nature-inspired design based on bespoke wallpaper Kit created for her Charlotte Street Hotel in London. The tall trees and delicate foliage in this pattern have been hand-drawn to give them an organic and elegant appearance. With subtle and calming shades of green across a variety of items, including plates, bowls and mugs, this unique pattern will bring a touch of nature to your table.
Kit Kemp and Spode’s Geo collection is designed to standalone or mix in with Tall Trees. On its own, its strong, modern look makes a statement, thanks to sleek graphics and contemporary colours. And when combined with Tall Trees, a natural partnership comes alive, with Geo providing geometry to complement the enchanted woodland feel.
Doodles couldn’t be more different – and fun! This tea and giftware collection features sketches that celebrate uplifting everyday moments. The bold and eccentric design work is that of Kit’s daughter, Willow, creating a cheerful collection that brings a smile to your face. Take a look and see which Doodle mug captures your spirit.
While Kit Kemp and Spode is a new partnership for 2023, Kit has previously worked with Wedgwood, creating Mythical Creatures and Sailor’s Farewell. The designer’s style and approach ensure the creation of individual tableware collections with inherent mix and match versatility.
