• About Blue Italian

  First launched in 1816, Blue Italian by Spode has now celebrated its 200-year anniversary. This beautiful blue and white collection is now considered an iconic English design. The stunning Blue Italian collection features a finely detailed 18th-century Imari Oriental border encompassing a scene inspired by the Italian countryside. As a pattern with a long history, many pieces are no longer produced, but a small range is still available, and many of the dinnerware items are still produced in Stoke-on-Trent. We stock both new and replacement Blue Italian from lunch plates, soup cups, and bowls to butter dishes, cake stands, and plenty more, so you can buy the whole package.

  Crafted from high-quality earthenware or porcelain, Blue Italian tableware is dishwasher, freezer, and microwave safe. Pieces marked as oven safe can be heated in an oven up to 170°C (340°F/Gas Mark 3), provided the dishes are not empty. The cookware can withstand oven temperatures up to 200°C (400°F/Gas Mark 6).
