Good service but

I was thrilled to get a phonecall to say that the pieces I wanted were available.However I was horrified at the cost of postage,I live on the IOW and most companies delivery charges are as for mainland as we are so close,not like the Channel Islands for example.Chinasearch would not use another carrier such as Hermes, DPD whose rates are "normal".I was told that as it had to go through a port it would be more expensive.I have pointed out many stores deliver weekly for free eg AO,John Lewis,Marks and Spencer. The parcel arrived the next day,beautifully packaged despite the "port" scenario!
