As a result of my Feefo comments about the Royal Doulton Flirtation Platter I was promptly contacted by Jane, a Chinasearch manager. She courteouly explained that the design on the platter was, in fact, perfect but that its online reprentation was incorrect. Jane informed me that some pieces in this range, including the platter, had slight design variations. Consequently, the online platter image was swiftly changed to clearly indicate its design differed from other pieces within this range.

The long flower stalk clearly visible on the online platter image was absent from the platter I received although the abstract flower design was clearly visible and undamaged. However, the overall platter design appeared unbalanced as a result. Although disappointed I was unable to return the plate which was a gift intended for personal delivery to a destination abroad and there was insufficient time to organise a substitute platter. The delivery note made no reference to the incomplete design on this platter and did not provide additional discount or an apology.
