Bawo & Dotter | Limoges Elite

In the 1860s, Bawo & Dotter of New York opened a porcelain decorating factory in Limoges in the 1870s, The Elite Works, and by 1896 they had started making their own porcelain. Production was halted during World War I, though it started up again soon after. Post-war mergers led to the formation of Guérin-Pouyat-Elite Limited, which continued to produce until 1932.
