Autumn Gold was a range created for Denby’s ‘Discovery Collection’ in 1988. The clean, square lines of the shapes were designed by Rodney Endean and they indicated the direction in which Denby tableware was to develop. The basic shapes were presented in two completely different ways. Some relied on both glaze and surface pattern for their appeal, whilst others were simply glazed in russet and differentiated by a band of moulded vertical lines.
