Shelley China

Shelley China

The Shelley Family started production of bone china and earthenware at the Foley Works in 1925, and the business stayed in the Shelley family until 1966 when the company was taken over by Allied English Potteries. The production of Shelley China was slowly phased out and production at the Foley works concentrated on Royal Albert ware. Shelley became famous for fine bone china tea sets, though their early art deco and nursery ware are beautiful.
