Ridgway Pottery

Ridgway is a name that has a great and long pottery history. By 1964 Ridgway had become a subsidiary of the newly formed Allied English Potteries which was subsequently merged with Royal Doulton in 1972. During this period Ridgway Potteries was one of the largest pottery companies with eight earthenware and china factories. The oldest of was Booths, Church Bank Pottery, and included potteries in Tunstall, Longton, Fenton, Cobridge, and Shelton. Brands that were produced by Ridgway included Colclough, Booths, Royal Adderley.
