Hostess Tableware

Hostess Tableware

Originally a trademark of British Anchor Pottery, Hostess Tableware Ltd was formed in 1970. They produced good quality earthenware and bone china.

The production of Hostess tableware branded products didn’t carry on much after the formation of Hostess Tableware Ltd. Later ranges were marketed under the Royal Stafford mark and the British Anchor works were eventually sold to Churchill China.

During the early 1970s period, Hostess worked with some top ceramic designers including John Russell, who is most well known for his Stylecraft designs at Midwinter.
