Adams Bridgwater

Adams Bridgwater

The last new pattern designed by Adams by Wedgwood was Bridgwater. A border only pattern of chromolith roses, blueberries and leaves with inner and outer red lines on cream colour ware. When Adams & Sons was purchased by Wedgwood on 1st January 1966 they continued to produce and design. However when Waterford merged in 1986, their management discouraged earthenware and Adam’s was rationalized by April 1987. Just three best selling patterns survived and three additions were promised: including Bridgwater. Introduced in 1990 and lasting un till 1993. All others were discontinued and the Greengates factory was used for a storehouse, then emptied and shuttered.

All items in the pattern are 75% off to clear.
