Launched in 1998, Sarah’s Garden was Wedgwood’s reaction to the more casual style in everything from fashion to food that had developed through the Nineties.  Using archive designs, evocative of a simpler, more gentle way of life, Sarah’s Garden formed an unbroken link back to Josiah Wedgwood himself. This link to the past, matched with modern tastes saw Sarah’s Garden become an instant classic. Now as the pattern reaches retirement we have taken a deep dive into the old catalogues full of bright Mediterranean colours and al fresco dining.

Wedgwood Sarahs Garden

Wedgwood Sarahs Garden

Designed for homes to today, yet wonderfully evocative of times long since past. Sarah’s Garden features beautiful hand drawn illustrations of fruit and flowers on rich cream earthenware recapturing echoes of the Wedgwood family home in the heart of English countryside.

Contemporary in feel, yet steeped in heritage, Sarah’s Garden draws its inspiration from many of the original shapes produced by Josiah Wedgwood. While its roots are in the 18th century, the vibrant colours and crackle glaze effect of Sarah’s Garden creates a fresh new look tailor made for today. The varied styling and wide range items are ideal for mixing and matching and collecting over time….
