Adams Meadowlands
We have 8 lines of Adams Meadowlands in stock to buy now with selected items on sale until 30th April.
Meadowlands is a Susie Cooper tableware pattern designed during 1983-84. Once produced it was carried, as an exclusive, by Boots the chemist. The design with small green flowers scattered around the rim is based on a ribbed white ironstone Empress shaped body and was once marketed in an ad (undated) for Jumbo Cod Fingers.

Susie Cooper started working with Wedgwood in 1966 when Wedgwood purchased Adams & Sons. Not only was she a designer but also a director of the company, however despite her triumphs, Susie faced an increasing struggle with the corporate structure of Wedgwood and the restrictions this placed on getting designs into production, in 1972 she resigned as a director and operated solely as a designer.
