Adams & Sons was purchased by Wedgwood January 1st 1966 and they continued to produce and design new patterns under Adams under Wedgwood. Using Joscelin Adams and the British Ceramic Research Association Micratex body created for its lighter weight body, greater strength and anti-chipping properties. The blue, yellow and pink iris flowers and Ancient Greece mythology Iris representing the link between heaven and earth are interpreted with the green intertwining stems linking through the flowers.
