Adams & Sons was purchased by Wedgwood January 1st 1966 and they continued to produce and design new patterns under Adams under Wedgwood. Among the new tableware patterns brought on line was Karina with an ironstone body and inner ribbed detail the pattern features connected purple flowers and green shamrocks. The lithographed pattern of the late 1970s was withdrawn in April 1983.
